In a season that is seeing lots of change for the club, we are delighted that Abhi has agreed to remain in his post. The destructive batsman has constantly been the standout performer for the side and he is looking to replicate his start last season in a promotion charge this year.

When he’s not saving lives, the Doc is saving the 3s innings, constant coming up with runs when they are needed. Despite a tough season personally last year, there is no doubt that he can bounce back and score plenty of runs. While the side that has only just transitioned into the Warwickshire league, the 3s will aim to utilise the strength of the junior section to aid in the push.

Abhi will be glad to have secured the services of Chris Moakes as VC for the upcoming season. Chris, who moved back to Earlswood from Studley last year, enjoyed a successful first season back at the club, mainly playing for the 2s. The swing bowler relies on his control and precision to break through the opening partnership and put the team in good stead during the bowling innings. Chris will lead a 3s bowling line up that has continued to strengthen with plenty of off-season signings.

The 3s are in safe hands for the upcoming season and will be giving everything to get that heralded promotion!
